Nonprofit MembershipCouple

Nonprofit membership in NAO is available to organizations in Oregon that meet the requirements of the IRS for tax exempt status under section 501 (c)(3) of the tax code or that must register as a charitable organization with Oregon's Department of Justice. Please contact us if you have a question regarding your organization's eligibility.


NAO's nonprofit member benefits include:

Annual nonprofit membership dues are based on your organization's annual budget:

  • Up to $50,000: $35 annual dues
  • $50,001 to $100,000: $75 annual dues
  • $100,001 to $250,000: $125 annual dues
  • $250,001 to $500,000: $175 annual dues
  • $500,001 to $999,999: $225 annual dues
  • $1,000,000 to $5,000,000: $275 annual dues
  • Over $5,000,000: $400 annual dues

Associate Membership

Along with nonprofit organizations other than 501 (c)(3)s, individuals, consultants, foundations, and businesses are eligible to join NAO as associate members. In addition to demonstrating support for the mission and work of Oregon's nonprofit community, associate members receive special recognition for their services on NAO's online Nonprofit Consulting & Services Directory.

Associate member dues are $125 per year.
