Flora Herminia Melhouse

Flora Herminia Melhouse serves as an Associate Consultant at TACS.  In this role, Flora provides project management support on a variety of projects primarily focused on TACS' work with communities of color.  Prior to joining TACS, Flora worked as an independent consultant with a number of Latino-led nonprofit organizations in Minnesota, and most recently played an instrumental role with the Minnesota Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities.  She has also worked for the Women's Foundation of California in San Francisco where she managed the Women's Policy Institute, a model program aimed at providing intensive advocacy and leadership training to diverse women leaders in California.  Flora has spent the majority of her professional career working with communities of color and is extremely passionate about community-based social justice initiatives.
